ADAMAWA GOVT APPLAUDS FIDELITY BANK FOOD DONATION TO THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE
Fidelity bank has complements the effort of the wife of Governor Fintiri Ahmadu of Adamawa State. Despite her effort in reaching people who need help in the State, obviously such assistant is far from over, especially in the face of COVID-19 Pandemic. Hence the donation of palliative to Her Excellency’s pet project FAPEF by Fidelity Bank PLC, will no doubt help to touch more lives for the better.
The Wife of the Governor Her Excellency, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, while receiving the items, appreciated Fidelity Bank for the kind gesture and called on well-meaning individuals and organizations to emulate the Bank in enhancing lives for the betterment of the society.
Presenting the items on behalf of Fidelity Bank, Dr. Musa Tarimbuka, North East Regional Manager, said it is part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility to their immediate community.
He said, given these items to Her Excellency Pet Project FAPEF, is to encourage her to continue with the good works that she started, and Fidelity Bank will always be ready to partner with FAPEF.

Commenting on the kind gesture from the bank towards the people Adamawa, Dr Musa Tarimbuka, North East Regional Head of the bank, who presented the items on Monday in Yola, said “As a bank, we believe that being socially responsible is the most effective way to bring about change in any society.
“Supporting lives of Nigerians are among the responsibility of the bank in Adamawa in order to complement government efforts of sustainable economic growth,” Tarimbuka said.
He noted that, if individuals and corporate bodies could play their own social responsibility, the nation would rise above its current challenges.
He added that the bank had impacted positively on the lives and communities across the country, especially in the period of COVID-19 pandemic.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Adamawa Government, Mrs Lami Fintiri, the Wife of the Governor, thanked the bank for the donation.
She appreciated the gesture and commended the effort of the bank for impacting positively on the lives of the people of the state.
She called on other banks to emulate the Fidelity Bank’s gesture to improve the living condition of less privileged in the state.
